The Image

A stippled architectural illustration: a boxy residential building against layered mountains in muted blues, pinks and beige.

Everything is built with dots. The building, the mountains, the sky, all the same mark at different densities. The rhythm of the surface is the subject, the landscape is the excuse.

Early work. A landscape study that sat outside the series work and became a reference point for the later stippling series.
