The Image

A striped lionfish hovers over a coral reef. The body is mint and cream in clean geometric shapes, the fins gold and orange, finely detailed. The reef below is pulled in navy and white from a photographic engraving.

Where fish 1 leans friendly and round, this one is all architecture. Angular fins, careful symmetry, almost heraldic. The fish is the pattern, the sea is the ground, the orange keeps it from turning too cold.

Second of the fishes, nodding to Japanese ukiyo-e prints. The most formal of the three, composed like a quiet study.
