The Image
A dynamic figure study of a dancer with leg raised high, ink and rust shadow on paper. Layered silhouettes show the arc of movement.
The shadow is offset on purpose. It shows where the leg was a second before the ink line catches up with it, the piece holds two moments in the same frame.
