The Image

A reclining figure stretched above a hillside cityscape, a bird drifting out of frame. Scale is broken on purpose, the figure larger than the town below it.

The collage leans on cream and slate this time, with pale yellow reserved for a single hill and the bird's path. The dense texture along the lower half is a photograph of terracotta roofs, reworked until it reads as pattern before it reads as a place.

Third panel of estrada fora. The trip is over, what stays is the hillside held in the body. Printed in limited edition.
